hur vet jag vilken styrväxel jag har och vad för stag jag ska ha?

Bilen är en 245 -92 GL/T paket

jag har servo.

Så hur går jag till väga för att ta reda på vad för stag jag ska köpa?

är bara att jämnföra rataxel anslutningen det var enda sätet jag lyckades få fram vilken styrväxel jag skulle ha då jag bytte.

finns 4 olika av någon anledning.

Jag får helt enkelt grotta ner mig i detta och ta fram en metod för att ta reda på vad man ska ha!

"240 models came with a couple different brand steering racks installed from the factory. In addition, many of thse cars have had steering racks swapped, and many times not with the same style rack.

This inner tie rod fits 240 models with CAM brand steering rack and MALE threads on the inboard end.

This inner tie rod is generall found on 1988-1993 240 models. To ensure correct ordering, please verify what is currently equipped on your car."

To determine whether you have a ZF rack or Cam rack most 240's had Service Plates (or labels) to designate the type of rack. 1978-79 the plate was on the door pillar. On 1980-93 the plate was on sheet metal between the grille and radiator (viewed by lifting the hood). Find the label of Steering gear (on the plate) and next to it will be a single digit code. 2, 4 & 5 indicate Cam racks, 3 indicates ZF.

Så jag "borde" ha en CAM styrväxel. får helt enkelt loss och se vilket håll skiten skruvas^^

Den siffran sade cam på min men kolade man infästningen mot ratt axeln så stämde det inte alls.

Gå in på mecca,s sida så har dom flera olika styrväxlar där kunde man jämnföra rätt bra och kollar man på knuten på bilen så ser man rätt enkelt vilken det ej är.
